The Union County Drop-In Centers are available to all Union County, NJ residents ages 10-18 (grades 6-12). To register, simply complete the registration form to attend workshops. Once you complete the general registration form you can attend any of the four sites below.
Program Description: UCCDIC will provide safe spaces for youth to receive tutoring, after-school activities, workshops, groups, and other services based on identified needs.
Weekly Activities: Youth will have access to fine arts (e.g. painting, sculpting, etc), Lego Spike, coding, robotics activities, and more. Case managers are on-site to provide one-on-one support to youth. Recreational activities are based on the sites; please reach out to learn about the activities at the specific sites. Transportation is available to the site with the parent accompanying the minor on Lyft rides.
Additional Workshops: Additional gender-specific workshops will cover topics such as healthy relationships, self-esteem, mental health, and bullying prevention.

We're stationed in Roselle NJ. We currently serve the residents of Union County, and Essex County. We plan to expand our services to cover the entire state of New Jersey!
Once you pass the GED test, you will receive a high school diploma from your state department of education.
You will need to take a basic skills assessment to determine your reading and math levels. From there, we would set-up your GED tutoring sessions. The sessions are currently on Zoom, in-person, or Google Meets. We provide one-on-one tutoring or groups up to 4 students.
It's free for youth who are sponsored by the Union County Youth Services Commission, New Jersey Office of Faith Based Initiatives, and other sponsors. Please contact us for additional eligibility information or a fee for service quote.
The exam can be taken at home or at a GED center. If you do take it at home, your laptop or computer must pass the system requirement test.
